Roundtable Meeting on the Draft Report on NHC:İÖG Report on the Right to Freedom of Religion or Belief

The first Roundtable meeting on the NHC: Freedom of Belief Initiative took place on September 4, with the participation of representatives of various belief communities in Turkey, human rights defenders as well as experts. The Roundtable event  took place in the Istanbul Office of Amnesty International. Developments affecting religious freedom in Turkey from January to June 2013 as well as recommendations for solutions were discussed. The January-June 2013 Freedom of Religion or Belief Monitoring Report is planned to be published in September 2013.
