What is a hate crime?

Hate crimes are motivated by bias against a group’s identity. And target individuals because of their religion or belief, national or ethnic identity, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, skin color or similar characteristics.

Hate crimes send a message that certain groups are not subjects of equal rights as the rest of the society, excludes these groups and hinders social coexistence.

We know that hate crimes can be prevented. Raise your voice against hate crime, take action for equality!
